Earth Day Sculpture Exhibit

From April 24 to 28, 2018, Union Station’s Main Hall was home to an Earth Day sculpture exhibit. On display were George Sabra’s pieces Exhausted Tree and Plastic Storm. Made of recycled automobile parts, Exhausted Tree is an 11-foot-tall sculpture of a tree that tells the story about the effects of air pollution on the environment.

Plastic Storm, a 14-foot-high sculpture, made from recycled bottles, cups, and jars, represents the amount of plastic waste humans generate on a daily basis.

We hope you had a chance to stop by and see the exhibit.
