On July 10th, Summer, the Union Station Amtrak Police Department K9 in the running for an American Humane Hero Dog Award, and her handler Sgt. Micah Jones were featured on WJLA ABC7 News. Also, on July 2, 2018, Summer was included in a 24/7 Wall Street list of the 25 most heroic dogs in the United States. We anticipate finding out if Summer advanced to the final round of voting for the Hero Dog Awards next week. Thanks to all who have supported and voted for this amazing dog.
