Earth Day with NASA 2019

On Monday, April 22nd and Tuesday, April 23rd, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Union Station’s Main Hall will be host to the sixth annual Earth Day celebration with NASA. At this great, free, public event, you can learn about space and science through multimedia stories of discovery, hands-on activities, and amazing technology.

USRC is happy to announce that, again this year, there will be a table which people can visit to learn about the beautiful, historic station, as well as upcoming restoration and expansion plans. Additionally, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, the USRC table will have some special guests – Sergeant Micah Jones and Staff Sergeant Summer (an 8-year-old female Labrador Retriever) of the K-9 Unit of the Amtrak Police Department. Summer is in the running for the American Humane Military Hero Dog Award, so please stop by to meet and vote for her.

This is a wonderful event and we hope to see you there.
