Earth Day with NASA 2018

On Thursday, April 19th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, April 20th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Union Station’s Main Hall will be host to the fifth annual Earth Day celebration with NASA. This great, free event is open to the public. Come one, come all to learn about space through multimedia stories of discovery, hands-on activities, and amazing technology. Additionally, former NASA Astronaut Paul Richards will be onsite on April 19th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm to sign autographs. Also, on April 20th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, there will be an American folk and bluegrass performance by Geraldine, a band of NASA employees.

USRC is happy to announce that in addition to all these interesting opportunities, there will be a table which people can visit to learn about the beautiful, historic station. From 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm both days, we will have special guests – Sergeant Micah Jones and K9 dog Summer of the Amtrak Police Department. Summer is in the running for a Hero Dog Award, so please stop by to meet and vote for her.

This is a wonderful event and we hope to see you there.
