On April 29, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the Swiss Armed Forces Central Band and “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band will have their first joint performance in the Main Hall of Union Station.

During this free, public concert, the Swiss and U.S. national anthems will reverberate in the Main Hall. In addition, the most famous Swiss march, the “General Guisan” March, will be performed. The Swiss Armed Forces Central Band thrills the public all over the world. Among other events, they have participated in the Hamina Tattoo in Finland, the Norsk Military Tattoo in Norway, and the Basel Tattoo in Switzerland. Colonel Jason Fettig and Major Aldo Werlen are responsible for the musical direction.
