The DC Public Library‘s Fab Lab pop-up will open its doors in NoMa on June 26th. Sponsored in part by the NoMa BID, the structure, made from two converted shipping containers, was designed and built by BC Workshop and features colorful exteriors painted by local artist Marc Pekala. The Fab Lab will offer programs and classes featuring 3D printers, sewing machines, and a laser cutter. The space will be open from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm every Tuesday and Wednesday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Sign up for a class today!
