To celebrate Independence Day, NoMa BID is inviting residents of the neighborhood to a block party and cook-out. There will be free burgers (enough for 200 people) and hot dogs, as well as sides. You are also welcome to bring your own family picnic and enjoy the live bluegrass band, moon bounce and slide (children only, please), face painting, giant Jenga, cornhole, and more.

The fun and festivities will take place at Storey Park (1005 First Street NE) from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, allowing you plenty of time to find the perfect spot for watching fireworks later that evening.
