Artworks for Freedom Human Trafficking Exhibit – June 5 to 14, 2018

From June 5th to 14th, there will be a human trafficking exhibit in the Main Hall of Union Station. Human trafficking is a terrible crime that happens in the United States and all around the world and USRC looks forward to raising awareness through Kay Chernush‘s Artworks for Freedom exhibit.

On June 6th at 12:00 pm, Mick McKeown, Director of the DHS Blue Campaign; Kenya Davis, Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, DC Human Trafficking Task Force; and Barbara Amaya, human trafficking survivor and advocate will be giving some opening remarks.

Advisory: the content of this display might not be suitable for all ages. We hope you will stop by the station to see the exhibit and learn more about this serious issue.
