Led by Kelly Towles, POW! WOW! DC kicks off ten days of art and creativity in NoMa on Saturday, May 5th from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, with a party at Wunder Garten and painting activities across the street at the lot at 1st and Pierce Streets NE. Live artists performing at the kickoff include Frida Larios, Marly McFly, and Spectrum Studio. In addition to the great beverage selection at Wunder Garten, there will be local vendors and DJs. As well, a tour of the 2018 mural sites will take place at 3:00pm. (There will be additional tours on May 6, 8, 12, and 13.)
